The collection “Manamine” (“Invocation”) was inspired by Estonian ethnography – specially by the myth of the evil eye.

All the garments have an embroidery with the safety pins, which are believed in Estonian mythology to have protective power towards the evil eye. In addition, it is believed that the less things you have, the smaller is the chance that you’re caught by the evil, therefore all the shapes of the garments are relatively minimal.
In terms of materials, high quality white herringbone wool and silk chiffon were used, to compliment luxurious yet minimal look.
The collection was presented on ERKI fashion show 2016.
